The food here was good, this was our first time ordering. We enjoyed the egg rolls a lot! I had chicken and broccoli which was great with the sticky rice. The shrimp and veggies were also good but a little too saucy. We will order again for sure!!
I have to say I'm a fan. I usually get the same things wherever I go so I base my review on the chicken and broccoli with pork fried rice. I've lived in the city my whole life and it seems it's the same people they have been running for aslong as I can remember. It's my go to chinese takeout.
The family that owns/operates this place work like absolute MULES. We've probably gotten meals here 50+ times as we live so close by. I've never seen anyone working there who is not family. The mom and dad are working ALL DAY EVERY DAY to support their children and give them a better life, so take the food and service with a grain of salt. Yes they're short on the phone and can actually be bothered by someone complaining about food not being there in exactly 45 minutes but that's probably because it's their 87th hour in that hot kitchen that week and your snooty entitled phone complaints don't merit any audience to them. They're hard working people who cook up delicious cheap Chinese food. Think twice before you act like you're above them.
One of the few options for lunch in the 30 minutes I get in the Watervliet area. Inexpensive, very quick turn around time. Good quality for the price. It's not one of those chain-style Chinese restaurants. And for my money, the local Chinese places often have the best food. Customer service is always good, a friendly smile, no bad experiences to report.
